I love Pekin Veterinary Clinic. Seriously-- the staff has always been fantastic, both in the treatment of our pets and in their explanations to us as pet owners. I've been going to this office since before Dr. Jess took over the practice and it has only gotten better and better with time. THE best vet in the area, bar none!
I was very impressed with the loving care you gave to my sweet Rosie. She has been doing well since I brought her home and I will definitely bring her back if and when Dr care is needed.

We were referred to Pekin Vet Clinic for their orthopedic services after our dog tore her ACL. Can't say enough about Dr. Jess! Hopefully nothing like this happens again, but Dr. Jess will be our go to guy again. The only issue we had was with one of the Techs...won't give her name. When we arrived for the initial consultation, my dog limping badly because of the injury, this Tech evidently thought my dog was walking fast enough so she grabbed the leash and started pulling on it...I took the leash back. Then when I picked my dog up from one of the therapy sessions, she thrust the leash at me and said " she's soggy" and walked away not telling me how the therapy went or what I should work on at home. This gal is just rude. Seems to me she is in the wrong profession. She doesn't seem to be the "norm" for this practice; everyone else has been very friendly and helpful. If Dr. Jess hadn't come so highly recommended, my dog and I would have walked out when this Tech grabbed the leash the first day.
