We love eating here...go there for the shrimp they just don't serve it often..
One of my favorite places to eat. The food is always hot and they keep the buffet moving. They can get really busy during the lunch rush. The owner is very kind.
I am a long time Pekin resident. The quality of the food has greatly declined over the years at Fast Dragon. The fresh food prepared on the Court Street location is very good. The buffet, on the other hand, is over cooked, bland and the atmosphere is rather disturbing. I witnessed waitresses yelling at each other and table surfaces below cleanliness standards. The price was a little high in the end at about $10 per person. I say this because myself and my wife hardly finished our first plate due to the unsatisfactory taste. I never thought that I would say this, but if choosing a buffet for Asian food, I would not recommend Fast Dragon. Instead travel a few more miles and enjoy The China Buffet in East Peoria. Same price and much better. I hope this honest review helps.
The people here were nice and they seem to try real hard but I have to be honest with you the food really wasn't that good. They may be the best in this area but that doesn't mean much I'm thinking. You owe it to yourself to drive to Morton there's a good Chinese restaurant there.
