Went to ER after having a seizure. They ended up finding something on a CT scan of my head, and the person telling me could not have been any worse at their job.
Staff in the ER and X Ray dept where very quick and nice but the ER doctors are useless need to be replaced. I went there as a last resort because I was in severe pain and could barley walk and came in by wheel chair hoping they could help me but instead the doctor pushed on my side which I thought was cracked or broke rib or collapsed lung and it felt like she put a knife in my side and I jumped alittle and I was pretty clear how uncomfortable I was and how much it was hurting and she just said it was no broken bones that I'll be fine. I actually left there in more pain then I went there in cause she obvisly had no clue what she's doing. NEVER go to their ER. I'm going for second opinion in peoria where doctors at least act like they know alittle about the medial field.
This review is based on trying to get financial assistance for my bill. No matter if your income has changed or stayed the same, in order to get assistance they make you reapply for medicaid EVERY SIX MONTHS. I told them I applied for health benefits for workers with disabilities and they go through the same process as medicaid. You would think that would be sufficient. Applying for medicaid is a HUGE pain. They have all my info: tax info, banking statement, check stub. Its obvious I am dirt poor. You have to jump through a million hoops to get help. Its redundant.
Went there waited forever and were not even busy and were very rude and did absolutely nothing while I felt like I was going to pass out and they sent me home and did nothing at all. I could barely drive and it was a horrible experience. I wouldn't take a dying dog there. They need to clean house and get people in there that actually care about u instead of nurses throwing stuff around and being rude and the Dr barely even spends 5 mins with u. This place needs to be shut down. It's a band aid station if even that. If I could leave a neg. Star I would. Yet they charge THOUSANDS of dollars for NOT doing anything at all.
They immediately started talking about how it COULD be cancer, but they don't really know at the same time. After I started screaming the person just kept talking louder to talk over my screaming. I was too upset to hear anything they said, but they did not care.
My experience in Urgent Care was absolutely phenomenal from beginning to end! I would like to give in a special shout out to in Radiology. She could not have been more pleasant, more helpful, more calming. She was absolutely amazing, as well as everyone else! Great job Pekin Urgent Care
The ambulance team also treated me horribly beforehand.
