The Aldi in Pekin is always well stocked and clean. It is a frugal alternative to bigger grocery stores.
Great store, clean & usually well stocked. Layout is similar from store to store, which is nice of you're out of your comfort zone.
Clean store, well organized, and great values. They likely won't have everything you always need, but the selection is good. And there is usually only one brand of any particular item (typically the house brand) which is actually a relief - you don't have to decide between 10 brands of the same item.
By far the lowest prices in town. We can feed our family here for about half what it would cost to shop anywhere else. The selection is usually pretty good too. Not the brightest or shiniest store around, but the quality and prices make up for it. It's also easy to get in and out fast!
I wish all stores could be as great as ALDI. So much better, price and quality than Kroger.
