There's like two shots of espresso in a Cafe 'merica! and I've had three. Good stuff. They have chocolate here too. Lots of chocolate. It's like what they're known for! And books.. now coffee. Lots of coffee!! Good coffee too. And a restroom... Gotta go.
Lovely coffee is served where the lovely sci fi paperbacks lived. I am enjoying a Cafe 'merica! While reading a vintage copy of 'A Gun For Dinosaurs" and enjoying the ironic twist that lets me now drink coffee and read in the very location where drinks were verboten in highschool. I won. I waited it out, and now I can drink soda and read a paperback at Mauries. They not only cannot stop me, it's encouraged! Ha! Patience wins the day!! This coffee is good! It goes well with the bagels. They do toast them unless you politely say, " oh, hey... Don't toast my begal."
Stopped by to pick up a caramel apple, one of Maurie’s fall specialties. Was so happy to see people coming in for coffee, danishes, ice cream and candy. LOVE the new decor and lay out!!
